His & Hers rewards rewatching more than almost any thriller in recent memory. Every frame contains information—some confirming what we think we know, some undermining it entirely. Here's your guide to the details hidden in plain sight.
Visual Clues
The Wedding Ring: Pay attention to when Jack and Emma wear their rings. The continuity "errors" aren't errors at all—they're telling us which memories are recent and which are reconstructed.
The Color Blue: Emma's "truth" scenes are tinted slightly blue. Jack's are slightly warm. The finale is shot in neutral tones. The show literally color-codes whose perspective we're seeing.
The Mirror Shots: Every time a character looks in a mirror, their reflection says something different than their words. Watch their eyes. The actors are performing two scenes simultaneously.
Dialogue Hints
Several lines hit differently on rewatch:
"I always knew this would happen" — Emma, episode 2. What did she know?
"She remembers it wrong" — Jack, episode 3. But does he remember it right?
"The truth doesn't live in either room" — Detective Walsh, episode 5. Walsh knew from the beginning.
