The Survival Rankings
Tier 1: Essential (Probably Safe) Boyd and Tabitha carry the narrative. Their visions and quests drive the plot forward.
Tier 2: Important but Expendable Characters with strong arcs who could die for emotional impact.
Tier 3: Red Shirt Territory Background characters and newcomers who exist to demonstrate danger.
The monsters need victims. Someone always has to open the door.
